Creative flow is the nectar of life ~ it’s as natural as the beat of your own heart. In this workshop, learn to trust your inner rhythms using the tools of process painting and free-form movement with the backdrop of a live music circle and drums. Feel the support of sacred community in a judgment-free space that nurtures creative play and self discovery. No prior art experience necessary. Come as you are ~ leave connected, inspired and fulfilled.

Workshop format includes an opening circle, centering meditation, creative expression with painting/movement and live drumming/music accompaniment, and closing circle with optional sharing.

About process painting:
Process painting is a tool for mindfulness and self-discovery that places the focus on the process, not the finished product. The materials are intentionally basic: Tempera paint, brushes and paper. Workshop facilitator and KC artist Jenny Hahn will provide gentle guidance and encouragement throughout the evening. There are no mistakes, and no painting experience is necessary. We recognize that every person is a creative being with unlimited potential and that when we show up and tap into that creativity, our unique expressions emerge naturally.
